Meet Herbert and Bandan

Novel Goose is our dream platform: a home for story lovers and authors.

In an era rampant with AI-generated writing, human creativity often gets sidelined. Meanwhile, traditional publishing feels increasingly inaccessible to indie and amateur authors looking to get their work out there. And many online platforms make it hard for new authors to earn anything. As aspiring writers ourselves, we struggle with the same issues. Where are future novelists supposed to go?

That’s why we’re building Novel Goose: a place where you can publish your own stories and read others’ stories without any hassle. Novel Goose welcomes all of your work, whether you want to post finished novels or share ongoing chapters and work-in-progress (WIP) pieces as you write.

Herbert and Bandan, our geese, each have their favorites. Herbert loves to bury his beak in fantasy and science fiction. Bandan prefers to analyze romance, literary fiction and historical fiction. They will argue whose taste is better, but every genre has a place on Novel Goose.

Above all, we want to support creators and see you fairly compensated for your effort. As we grow, authors will receive a majority cut of any money earned from their readership via non-intrusive ads. And to ensure that your stories are accessible to as many readers as possible, Novel Goose will be available on both mobile apps (iOS will be launching first, arriving sometime in February 2027) and website.
